Methi leaves and lemon dal is a simple to make dal. A mix of three different dal cooked with fenugreek leaves.The methi dal recipe tastes equally good with rice or roti to add flavor do squeeze a lemon.
- Take a pan and add oil, mustard seeds, dry red chilies, cumin seeds, crushed garlic, chopped onion, a pinch of turmeric,hing and saute it for a minute or two.
- Add chopped green chilies, curry leaves and mix it well.
Add a little bit of water and butter, chopped fenugreek
- leaves. Saute all these for few mins.
- Now add boiled toor dal and salt as per taste and mix it well.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and lastly squeeze lemon juice and mix it well. Saute all these for 1-2 mins.
Serve it with hot rice.
