A button mushroom dish, has a beautiful, rich taste to it. Very classy and whole dry masala gives it a different texture. Not recommended for big gathering
- Cut mushrooms into half and bigger ones to quarter, length wise.
- Cut capsicum in 1/2 to 1 inch cube, not very fine.
- Make ginger garlic paste.
- Crush whole coriander seeds and red chilli in dhin chik . [ Avoid dhaniya powder and chilli powder].
- In a pan, take 3 tablespoon oil and put the mushrooms along with half ginger garlic paste and salt. let it fry till golden brown.
- Add bell pepper to it n fry for about two minutes to retain the crunchy effect. keep aside. again put the remaining oil and temper with jeera and kalonji. add onions and remaining ginger garlic paste.. Add little salt. remember salt is also added while frying mushrooms.
- Fry onions till light brown. add the crushed whole garam masala. saute for a minute. Then add tomatoes.
- Cook till oil separates.
- Add the pre fried mushroom-bell pepper mixture.
- Mix till all are coated with masala.
