Description

This is a colorful biryani and very tasty.This type of Biryani is found in a restaurant called Shanti Sagar in Bangalore,Karnataka India.Boil 2 cups Basmati Rice with 3 cups water, with all the whole Cinnamon,clove,cardamom,liitle saffron and salt to taste. Once the rice is done add the orange or red food color and let the rice cool. In a big Kadai put the oil,fry the onions till the color changes. Then fry the tomato and then add the capsicum/green pepper.Fry all this till you get nice aroma of the vegetables and till the oil separates.Add the yogurt and fry for 2 min.Now add the boiled rice and mix all the ingridients well.Add garam masala,ajji no motto and salt to taste and mix well. Now add cashew nuts and red chilly and mix well. Cover with lid and cook for 2 min.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
