This dish is purely karnataka style, and my mom use to prepares this very often and we all love this dish.Take a big non stick pan and get water to boil and add toor dal, once the dal is 60% cooked mix all the other ingredents and cook till dal and other ingredents are little soft, switch of the stove and let this mxture cool a bit, keep the water seprately and put the rest in a blender and just grind for 1 min, Then mix this mixture with the dal water and boil it for 5min by adding salt. take a small pan and put little oil(1 spoon ) and mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves and make a tadka and put this to the dal and green leaves mixture.
