Mutton Biryani is a spicy, fragrant and colorful variant of biryani in India. This dish holds a special place at parties and functions emphasizing the royalty of the occasion.
- Take a pressure cooker and add two medium sized tumbler of water , add mutton , turmeric , salt and ginger piece. Close the pressure cooker and wait for five whistles
- Drain the mutton stock in a bowl and keep it aside.
- Spread the boiled mutton over a plate and let it cool.
- Grind the green chillies and tomato in a blender .
- In the pressure cooker , heat the olive oil . Add the spices mentioned above and lightly fry it.
- Add onions and fry golden brown , add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes , add the grinded green chillies and tomato paste to this mixture, add the boiled mutton to this and add curd as well.
- Now add the mutton stock and stir for five mins.Add rice , lime juice, salt and mix well .
- Finally add chopped mint and coriander leaves and close the pressure cooker. wait for three whistles or fifteen mins.
