A healthy South-Indian style sambar made from toor dal & drumstick leaves. Drumstick leaves are very healthy as it is rich in iron, this sambar provied lot of iron with drumstick leaves.
- Boil the toor daal and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, red chilies, fenugreek seeds, onions, curry leaves, onions, turmeric powder, salt, hing and sauté it.
- Add coconut pieces, tamarind juice, sambhar powder along with water, close the lid of the pan and once it comes to boil, remove the lid.
- Then add boiled dal, drumstick leaves, sugar and cook for some time then switch off the flame.
Drumstick leaves sambar is ready to serve.
