Double beans pulao is packed with protein and is great for school going kids. It can be had for lunch and dinner.
- Heat a pan and add cinnamon stick, pepper, star anise, cloves, shahi jeera, red chilies, cardamom, mace, biryani phool, bay leaf and dry roast it on the slow flame for 2 minutes.
- In a blender add dry roasted mixture to make garam masala powder.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, green chilies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, carrots, potatoes and saute it for a minute.
- Then add salt and keep the lid on to cook the vegetables, then add water, double beans to cook it for 1 minute on slow flame.
- Now add 2 teaspoons garam masala powder, coriander powder, water and check for seasoning, keep the lid on and once water starts boiling add rice and cook the pulao on slow flame.
