Dappalam is a very traditioanl item that a goes well with rice and its very nutrious.Take water into a vessel enough to cover the vegetables. add some salt and turmeric along with all vegetables. Boil it and add cut green chilly pieces , jaggery and tamarind extract and chilly powder. Now make seasoning in seperate pan , add mustard,dry red chillies, hing, jeere and urad dal, let it fry and add to the above vegetables. Now take 2 tbs of besan mix with water with out any lumps and add it to the above preperation. Add coriander leaves. serve with rice.
