Description

Chintakaya chitrannam is a popular south Indian flavored rice dish.

In a hot water put tender tamarind and boil for 2-3 minutes then put it in a blender and make it like a paste.
In a pan, heat the oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, cashew nuts, red chilies, green chilies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt and fry them.
Now add tamarind paste, rice mix well and serve.
