Chicken koftas with Horlicks oats is easy to make tasty snack recipe. Healthy oats are combined with chicken and flavored with spices to delight your taste buds.
- Grind a coarse paste of chicken by adding oats, yogurt along with mint leaves, green chilies, coriander leaves, salt (to taste).
- Add some more Horlicks oats to reduce the moisture content in the prepared paste.
- Now shape the mixture into small dumplings, deep fry in hot oil till they turn slightly brown in color and transfer to a plate
- In the same oil, add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder, saute until raw flavor is gone.
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute well.
- Season yogurt with coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, chili powder and transfer to the same cooking pan
- For flavoring, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, fried brown onion, cook for about 10 minutes add the fried chicken koftas and cook for a minute more.
- Now to make gravy consistency little thicker add Horlicks oats.
- Turn the flame off by garnishing with coriander leaves.
