This fry is a dry type and cud be tried with both beef or Mutton.This is my own recipe when i found that beef fry in chennai was'nt tasting gud.We get the syrian type which is of the kerala origin.So i decided make a recipe that becomes the Hall mark of Chennai Cooking.I followed your Butter chicken recipe and it came out Gud.As a reciprocation i give you my recipe.
- Mix the beef with pepper powder, turmeric powder and gram masala add salt and bring to boil.
- After the beef is cooked separate the broth and beef.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, drop the ground saunf, and red chillies. Add the onions fry till brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry well till both the onions and ginger garlic mix well.
- Now add the beef stir fry till the mixture gets coated well on the meat.
- Now add a little broth into the frying pan till all get absorbed to the meet.
- Add salt as per your taste (remember you have boiled beef with salt already so drop the salt. Let the fry get dry.
- Add the coarsely ground pepper and curry leaves into your fry. stir fry till every piece of meat gets dry
Now ready to serve CHENNAI BEEF FRY.
