Chana soya masala saag is an interesting dish made with saag masala which has a very good combination of vegetarian protein in the form of soya nuggets and garbanzo beans.
- First blanch spinach, for that take a pan and add water, spinach then boil it and take out spinach from water to keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, green chillies, onions, nutmeg powder, coriander leaves, mint leaves, spinach and switch off the flame to saute it.
- Then take the above mixture into the blender and bend it into a smooth green paste.
- In the boiling water add soya nuggets for 5 minutess and then strain the water to keep it aside.
- Heat butter in a pan and add chopped tomatoes, amchur powder, salt, garam masala powder and cook it.
- Then add boiled kabuli chana, soya nuggets and saute it.
- Also add green paste and mix thoroughly to cook.
Then serve this with rice, roti and puri.
