Cabbage in Channa dal onion and tomato gravyIn a pan , Heat oil and add Shahi jeera. When it slightly roasts add onions ,turmeric and green chillies and fry till onions are golden brown. Then add Cloves , Cinnamon along with Tomatoes to onions and close the lid for 2-3 mins. Add little water if required . Boil till u get the fragrance of masalas. Then add boiled cabbage and salt. Stir well. Close the lid for 2 mins . After cabbage is well cooked in the gravy add Channa dal paste to the pan and stir well . Close lid again for about 3 -4 mins. Finally add with chopped cilantro.
