This is a non vegetarian kofta curry prepared with chicken mince and bottle gourd. This can be served with naan and roti.
- Take a mixie jar and add poppy seeds, dry coconut, soaked cashew nuts, little water and blend into smooth paste.
- Take another mixie jar and add chicken, soaked chana dal, garam masala and blend into coarse paste.
- Take small dumpling and make round balls and shallow fry in pan and keep aside.
- In the same pan add black cumin seeds, onions, little salt and saute it.
- To it add chopped ginger garlic, turmeric powder, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander powder, red chili powder and mix it once.
- Add poppy seeds paste, water and mix nicely, add bottle gourd pieces and cook it.
- Once bottle gourd is half cooked add chicken meat balls and saute it.
- Check for seasoning and add salt, water, coriander leaves and mix nicely.
