Description

This is really a hot and spicy recipe with rice and red gram dhal.It will be finger-licking good.

Pressure cook both rice amp; dhal together along with salt amp; turmeric..Heat one 2 tsp of oil in a pan.Fry the ingredients(from Cinnamon to fenugreekseeds) one by one amp; finally fry the grated coconut.Allow it to cool amp; then grind everything together finely.Keep it aside.Heat oil in a kadai add small onions amp;saute.Add chopped tomatos,followed by all the chopped vegetables.Then add the ground mixture,salt amp;saute for few minutes .Add water amp; allow the vegs to cook.After the vegs are cookod add tamarind pulp amp; cook for few more minutes. Then transfer this into already cooked rice-dhal mixture and stir it nicely.Add little coconut oil and curryleaves.Serve hot.
