Description

Bottlegourd curry with Mustard, Sesame seeds, coconut paste.First peel the skin of bottlegourd, remove the inner seeds, cut into 1cm cubes, boil till the gourd is cooked (5-10min) till the rawness is removed and strain it. Soak the sesame seeds and white rice separately in water for 1hr, coconut either in pieces or grated. Strain the water and mix, sesame seeds, white rice, cut green chilli, 1 tsp mustard, salt to taste and make to a fine smooth paste. Now add oil to a wok, add mustard seeds, add bottlegourd and stir fry for 2min, add the paste and mix well and cook for 10min stir inbetween till the bottlegourd and paste is well cooked.
