I do not know anything about this dish,but, my husband when ever he would go to visit his grandmas house he would have it for break fast.so as per his interest I learned from his mother.
- First grind urad dal adding green chillies,ginger piece,cumin seeds and salt.then take ildy plates and apply ghee or butter to grease the moulds and add the grounded urad dal batter and steam as you would for idlies.now you can serve either with chutney or pickle.
