Dry Groundnut Chutney powder is a very tasty dish especially prepared in Southern India. It is also called as shengadana chutney or groundnut chutney. This chutney is made with groundnuts, fresh curry leaves, asafetida and other Indian spices. Fry little hing (asafetida) in a little oil and then put it in the mixie and grind all these ingredients to a slightly coarse powder. Store in airtight container and keep in the fridge to retain its freshness. Serve with hot rice and ghee, rice roti, chapatti, idli and dosa.

Tips: Adjust the quantity of red chilli according to your taste to make it more or less spicy. Spread this chutney powder on buttered toast for breakfast or a snack.
