Ingredients used in Wali wa samaki = Fish rice
• Fish - 500 grams.
• Rice - 2 cups.
• Vermicelli - 1/4 cup.
• Cube maggi soup - 1 number.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Water - 1 cup.
• Carrot - 1 number.
Method:
  • Boil the rice well and add some salt to taste. Pour out all the water and leave the rice in a sieve.
  • In a pan fry fish, onion, vermicelli and carrot until onions get cooked but not burnt.
  • Add 1 cup of water into the frying pan and drop in the maggi soup cube. Keep steering until water starts boiling and the soup is fully dissolved.
  • Take another pan, add rice from the sieve, add all the contents from the frying pan and stir gently (with wooden spoon / spatula). Put on the low flamefor 5 minutes. Stir one more time and take off from the fire.

Keep to cool a little and serve.
