Ingredients used in Tea Time Fruit Cake
• All-purpose flour - 100 grams.
• Sugar (powdered) - 100 grams.
• Butter - 100 grams.
• Eggs - 2 number.
• Vanilla essence - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Baking powder - pinch.
• Tuitty fruitty/ dry fruits - 100 grams.
• Caraway seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Ginger powder - 1 pinch.
• Cinnamon powder - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Preheat the Philips Airfryer at 180 degree centigrade for 3 minutes. Lightly grease a round cake tin and line it with a double layer of baking parchment.
  • In a mixing bowl, add in the butter and cream the butter with a hand blender. Once the butter gets soft, add little by little powdered sugar and blend together until its light and fluffy.
  • Add little vanilla essence and egg mixture and whisk together.
  • In another bowl, add flour, tuitty fruity, caraway seeds, ginger powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder and mix well.
  • Shift the flour mixture in the butter mixture and slowly fold together well. Spoon the mixture into the greased cake tin.
  • Place the cake tin in the Philips Airfryer and bake for about 15 minutes at 180 degree centigrade.
  • After 15 minutes, remove the tray, insert a skewer in the cake and if it comes out clean take it out and cool.
  • Remove the lining sheet and sprinkle some powdered sugar over before cutting.
