TANGY MANGO AND DRUMSTICK CURRY

Ingredients used in TANGY MANGO AND DRUMSTICK CURRY
• Raw mango - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger - 1 piece.
• Garlic - 7-10 clove.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Drum sticks - 2 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Water - 1 cup.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chillies - 4 numbers.
Method:
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and add dry red chillies, ginger, garlic, little salt, raw mango saute it and transfer it into a blender and blend it smoothly.
  • Heat oil in the same pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, drum sticks, turmeric powder, salt and saute it and cover it with the lid and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Add water, coriander powder and mix thoroughly place the lid and cook it for 3 -5 minutes.
  • When drumsticks are 50% cooked add raw mango paste and mix thoroughly and place the lid and cook it for 5 minutes on slow flame.

Now check for seasoning and serve it with rice.

What are these drumsticks? They look a bit like okra to me. I've always thought of drumsticks as chicken legs. Also, the way you pronounce "tanginess" is adorable.
