Ingredients used in SOYA KABULI CHANNA TIKKI
• Chickpeas(soaked) - 1/2 cup.
• Soya chunks - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger(finely chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garlic(finely chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Anardana powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chilly flakes - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Kasuri methi - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
Take soya chunks and place in boiling water for 5 minutes, squeeze water and keep aside. In a blender add chickpeas, soya chunks, salt and blend into coarse paste, transfer into a bowl. To it add ginger, garlic, anardana powder, garam masala, red chili flakes, coriander leaves, dry roasted and crushed kasuri methi and mix nicely. Take small dumpling and give the shape of flat round tikki. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry tikkie on both sides and transfer into a plate. Now soya kabuli channa tikki are ready to serve.
