Ingredients used in sorakaya perugu pachhadi
• For masala: chillies - 5 or 6 numbers.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Urad dal - 1 tablespoons.
• For thadka : jeera - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Turmeric - 1/4 tablespoons.
• Water - 2 bag.
• Chillipowder or(sambar kaaram) - 1 tablespoons.
• Salt - 1 1/2tbsp or to taste.
• Garlic - 6or7 clove.
• Curd (sour curd is more better) - 3 cup.
• Bottle gaurd - 1 small.
• Jeera - 1 tablespoons.
• Curry leaves - 10 or 12 numbers.
Method:

1) take a small size of bottle gaurd and peel it , make small pieces (1 inch) by removing all their seeds inside to it. 2)put all those pieces in 2 cups of water make them boil until they become soft ,after they become soft add 1 1/2 tbsp of salt in it. 3) squeeze all water in side of those pieces keep them aside. 4) for masala take all masala ingredients(chilles, garlic, jeera, curry leaves) and grind them. 5)mix all the masala with boiled bottle gaurd pieces and add curd, chilli powder, turmeric and salt (if necessary) keep aside. 6)put a pan on the stove add oil, urad dal, mustered seeds after some time mustered seeds starts spliting then add(if necessary add some curry leaves too ) curd mixture and put this off from the stove. we can serve this with rice and also with roties.
