Ingredients used in Quail Mushrooms
• Quails (bird) - 8 numbers.
• Mushrooms (sliced) - 10 numbers.
• Flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Butter - 4 tablespoons.
• Garlic paste - 4 tablespoons.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Chicken stock - 2 cups.
• Salt - to taste.
• Black peppers - to taste.
• Red chilli powder - to taste.
• Cayenne peppers - half tea spoon.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
In a bowl add flour, quail, sprinkle with garlic paste, salt, black peppers, red chilli powder, cayenne peppers and lemon juice. Marinate it for sometimes. Melt butter in a frying pan, add quail, cook it well till it get brown by turning often. Add the chicken stock and tomatoes. Cover and cook it for 20 minutes. Put quail on hot platter and cover with aluminum foil. Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Add flour to pan and cook until thickened. Pour over quail and sprinkle with parsley.
