WHEAT BHUNDI PAYASAM

Ingredients used in WHEAT BHUNDI PAYASAM
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - pinch.
• Water - 2 cup.
• Jaggery - 1 cup.
• Cashew nut - 8 numbers.
• Chironji - 1 tablespoon.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Milk (boiled) - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Take a bowl, add wheat flour, pinch of salt, water and mix thoroughly until it form to thick bhundi batter consistency as shown in video.
  • Boil water in a pan, on top of it place the bhundi strainer and pour the batter in it and rotate with the spoon as shown in the video and cook the bhundi.
  • Take another pan, add half cup of water, jaggery and mix thoroughly until it form to a jaggery syrup.
  • Heat ghee in another pan, add cashew nut, chironji, saute it and keep aside.
  • In the jaggery syrup pan, add bhundi and cook it for another 2 minutes.
  • Add milk and cardamom powder to the above pan and cook it.
  • Now, add roasted cashew nut, chironji and switch off the flame.
  • At last, add boiled milk and serve the yummy wheat bhundi payasam.
