VILLAGE STYLE FISH CURRY

Ingredients used in VILLAGE STYLE FISH CURRY
• Fish - 1 number.
• Green chillies - 3 numbers.
• Onions - 1 cup.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1-2 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 1/4 cup.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Take a pan and add fish pieces, green chillies, onions, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and toss it.
  • Add oil and cover it with a lid and cook it for 10 minutes with lid on it.
  • Take a mixie jar and add tomato, tamarind juice and blend it.
  • To the above pan add tomato tamarind juice and slightly mix, cook it.
  • At last add curry leaves, coriander leaves and check for seasoning.

Now village style fish curry is ready to serve.

The only problem with this method is that the onions remain semi cooked. If i cook more, the fish gets over cooked. Can i add sauted onions??
