Ingredients used in URAD DAL KACHORI
• Oil - to fry.
• Urad dal(soaked for 30 minutes) - 1/2 cup.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Amchur powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add urad dal, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, salt, garam masala and saute it.
  • Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, salt, little oil, water and mix nicely to make a soft dough, later keep aside for 5 minutes.
  • Take small portion of dough and press it using hands and stuff urad dal mixture and close edges, again press it into flat round shape kachori.
  • Heat oil in a pan and place kachori and deep fry it on slow flame.
  • Transfer to a paper towel and serve it.
