CHICKEN TOMATO EGG DROP SOUP

Ingredients used in CHICKEN TOMATO EGG DROP SOUP
• Egg (white) - 2 numbers.
• Tomato sauce/ketchup - 1 tablespoon.
• Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Corn starch - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Ripe tomatoes (diced) - 1 cup.
• Chicken - 50 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili sauce - 2 tablespoon.
• Chicken stock - 1 litres.
• Hot chili sauce - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • First, cut chicken into small pieces thenadd a pinch of salt, cornstarch mix.
  • To it add a half teaspoon of egg white and mix it again.
  • Later, drop the chicken pieces into boiling stock and let it simmer for around 5 to 7 minutes till the chicken floats on top.
  • Then season it with some salt, chopped tomatoes, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup and soya sauce, hot chili sauce.
  • Even if you like a thick gravy consistency, add some cornstarch dissolved in water.
  • Then take egg white beat them and pour it into the soup.
  • At last, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, serveit hot.

i love egg drop soup... reminds me of my young days in Delhi.. how we used to go the CHINESE VAN and have soup. AHHHH !!! I wish they were here too. Indian restaurants in US do not experiment much. I miss India so much.
