TOMATO BATH WITH VERMICELLI

Ingredients used in TOMATO BATH WITH VERMICELLI
• Vermicelli - 1 ½ cups.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds - half tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - half tea spoon.
• Green chilli - 3 numbers.
• Onion (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Tomato puree - half cup.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tea spoon.
• Green peas - 2 teaspoons.
• Water - as required.
• Coriander (chopped) - half cup.
Method:
  • Heat pan and add butter, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chilli (remove the seeds) chopped onions, salt, curry leaves, saute it and add tomato puree, cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add tomato ketchup, green peas and add water let this come to boil meanwhile dry roast the vermicelli by adding ghee or butter.
  • when water starts boiling, add the roasted vermicelli and required water put the lid on and let it cook for 5 minutes in a slow flame.
  • finally add chopped coriander and switch off the flame.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
