Tangy Curry Kata Meeta Daal

Ingredients used in Tangy Curry Kata Meeta Daal
• Chilly powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Onion chopped - 1 number.
• Kalonji - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garlic crushed - 4 number.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Garam masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Green gram - 100 grams.
• Green peas - 100 grams.
• Garbanzo - 100 grams.
• Tomato chopped - 3 number.
• Jaggery - 1 tablespoon.
• Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Soak garbanzo, green peas, and green gram for over night and boil them.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add fenugreek seeds, crushed garlic, kalonji, chopped onions, curry leaves, salt, turmeric and saute it.
  • Then add boiled garbanzo, green peas, green moong, and cook it for some time.
  • In this oil, add chili powder, garam masala powder, chopped tomato, jaggery, after sometime of sauting even add tamarind juice, cook this till moisture is evaporate.

Serve this with chapatti, naan.
