Ingredients used in Spicy Bean Soup
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Baked beans (from can) - 1/2 cup.
• Capsicum (chopped) - 1 number.
• Spring onion with greens (chopped) - 1 number.
• Celery stick (chopped) - 1 number.
• Tomato (chopped) - 1 number.
• Bread toasted (slices) and broken to bits - 1 number.
• Tomato sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Red chilli garlic sauce - 1 tea spoon.
• Boiled rice - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper - to taste.
• Butter or oil - 1 tea spoon.
• Water or vegetable stock - 3 cups.
Method:
  • Heat butter in a pan, add chopped capsicum, spring onion, celery, stir-fry until they are tender.
  • Then add baked beans, chopped tomatoes to it and stir for a minute or two.
  • Add tomato puree to the same pan, stir for further 3-4 minutes.
  • Later, add stock and bring to a boil then add boiled rice. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  • At last, keep boiling it by adding bread pieces, sauces (tomato sauce, red chili sauce), salt and pepper.

    Serve it hot.
