Ingredients used in spicy Peas and Carrot Pulav
• Cilantro - 1 bunch.
• Chillipowder - 1/2-1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Butter - 3 tablespoons.
• Rice(basmati) - 2 cup.
• Carrot(cut little long) - 2-3 numbers.
• Peas(boiled) - 1 cup.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Onion(sliced vertically) - 1 numbers.
• Ginger - to taste.
• Cloves,cardamom - 5 numbers.
• Cinnamon,bayleaf,javetri(optional) - 3 numbers.
Method:
1. Grind the Ginger,Cardamom and Cloves to a fine paste by adding a little water. 2. Melt the Butter and add the Spices. 3. Add Onions to it and Fry well 3-4 Minutes. 4.Add the Grinded Paste and fry a little more. 5. Add the Cilantro leaves. 6. Add the Vegetables(Peas amp; Carrot) and Fry again for sometime. 7. Add the Rice and again Keep Stirring until the Rice gets cripsy. 8.Add Salt and ChilliPowder. 9. Add Exactly 2amp;3/4 Cups of Water 10. Pressure Cook for 8-10 Mintues(Don#39;t Let it to cook, too Long) 11. Serve Hot With Raita or My Favourite ccc(Chennai chukku chicken)
