SHAHI ALOO METHI MUTTER PAPDI

Ingredients used in SHAHI ALOO METHI MUTTER PAPDI
• Semolina - 1/4 cup.
• All purpose flour - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Onion(chopped) - 1 number.
• Fenugreek leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Dry green peas - 1/4 cup.
• Tomato(chopped) - 1 number.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Red chili powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1-2 pinch.
• Amchur powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Potato(pieces) - 1 number.
• Paneer - 1/4 cup.
• Fresh cream - 1 tablespoon.
• Dill leaves - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a bowl add semolina, all purpose flour, salt, oil and mix nicely.
  • Add water and mix nicely to make a dough, allow it rest.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions, fenugreek leaves, salt, boiled dry green peas, tomato and saute it.
  • Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, amchur powder, potato and cook it.
  • Add paneer, fresh cream and saute the stuffing mixture.
  • Roll the dough into sheet and cut it with shaped cutter and do docking, deep fry in moderately hot oil.
  • Transfer into paper towel, spread a stuffing mixture on all papdi and arrange one on another.

Now garnish with dill leaves and serve it.

instead of making the dough thing- could I just buy crackers and make the filling??
