Ingredients used in SCHEZWAN FRIED RICE
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Garlic(finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Vinegar - 1 tea spoon.
• Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon.
• French beans(chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Green bell pepper(chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Cabbage(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Green peas - 1 tablespoon.
• Carrot(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Yellow bell pepper(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Red bell pepper(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• 5 spicy powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Basmati rice - 1 cup.
• Egg - 1 number.
• Spring onions(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, red chili paste, vinegar, soya sauce and saute it for 1 minute. To it add tomato ketchup, little salt, little sugar and saute it. Add french beans, green bell pepper, onions, cabbage, green peas, carrot, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper and saute it for 1 minute. Add 5 spice powder, cooked basmati rice and mix nicely on high flame. Heat oil in a pan and add beaten egg and scramble it. Switch off flame, transfer into above rice pan later add spring onions and saute it. Now schezwan fried rice is ready to serve.
