Ingredients used in raw jackfruit curry (andhra style)
• Red chillies, little tamarind pulp, little jaggery - .
• Green chillies, curry leaves - .
• Tadka items, hing - .
• Canned or frogen jackfruit - 1 can.
• Sauted sesme seeds powder - .
Method:
first cut the can and drain, wash then chop in chopper .Then that looks like grated coconut.Put pan on stove,heat ad oil put urad,chanadal,mustard seeds,half tsp of methi seeds,little hing powder,red chillies3,fry them after that add green chillies, curry leaves,turmeric,salt,tamarind pulp oneandhalf tsp,pinch jaggery, and add chopped jackfruit and mix every thing together and put lid on it and cook on slow flame for about 20 to 30 min in between stirring.At the end about switch off the stove and sauted and powdered sesame seeds and mix well and cook for 5 min. Eat with rice.
