Ingredients used in Ragi Vada
• Peanuts - 1/2 cup.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Roasted chana dal - 1/2 cup.
• Ragi flour - 1 cup.
• Oil - to fry.
• Water - as required.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Green chillies (chopped) - 2 number.
• Dates (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • In a blender add roasted chana dal and peanuts and make a coarse powder.
  • Mix all the ingredients together with water to a vada mixture consistency .
  • Make sure it is not too watery .
  • Heat oil in a kadai .
  • Make small balls out of the mixture and flatten it by pressing with hand . dont make it too thick or too thin . fry on medium heat until done .

Ragi vada has always been my favourite. Nice to see the recipe here. We do it like onion pakoda instead of patties. You can expect them to be even more crispier.
