POTATOES IN YOGURT CURRY - DAHI ALOO

Ingredients used in POTATOES IN YOGURT CURRY - DAHI ALOO
• Chopped coriander leaves - half cup.
• Chili powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Hing - pinch.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Yogurt (curd) - 1 cup.
• Potatoes - 5 number.
• Mustard oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Regular oil - as required.
Method:
  • First boil the potatoes and cut them into quarters then saute them in oil for 1-2 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoonof mustard oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  • Then add turmeric powder, hing, salt and mix well.
  • In the same pan, add red chili powder, curd at a time and stir it.
  • Then add potatoes (boiled and saute in oil) to it, add chopped coriander leaves, give a boil and switch off the flame.

Serve this hot with rice, or chapattis.
