POTATO LEEK SOUP

Ingredients used in POTATO LEEK SOUP
• Garlic chopped - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• White pepper powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chives (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Potato - 1 number.
• Chicken stock - 3 cups.
• Butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Leeks (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Cream - 1/4 cup.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan add chopped garlic, chopped onion sauteed for some time.
  • Add chopped leeks add diced potatoes cook for some time.
  • Add stock and cook for 5 minutes, remove from the stove and blend it into a paste
  • Again pour the paste into the saucepan add some more stock,
  • Add salt and pepper powder bring it to the boiling, after removing from the stove add fresh cream, garnish with chives and serve it.

A really nice variation is to use soured cream instead of regular cream - the combination of flavours is INCREDIBLE

I LOVE this preparation! Usually everyone adds sage to this (which I'm allergic to) so great to see a more simple pure version as I love this soup (except for the sage lol)
