Ingredients used in Peanut Onion Tomato Chutney
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tamarind juice - 1/4 cup.
• Tomato (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Onion (medium size) - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Green chilly - 4 numbers.
• Garlic - 6 cloves.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Peanuts - 1/2 cup.
• Red chilly - 3 numbers.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Urad daal - 1/4 tea spoon.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan add red chilly, peanuts, garlic, cook these peanuts are slightly colour. Add green chilly, curry leaves, chopped onions, cook these onions are brown in colour. Add tomatoes, salt, tamarind juice, put the lid on cook it for 3 minutes, switch off the flame and let it cool down put into the blender make a coarse paste. Tempering with oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Urad daal and curry leaves. *Serve this with idly, dosa.*

delicious chutney ....this is! very tasty. Of course tempering is optional for this chutney. You can avoid some oil.....still it is delicious.Thank you VahChef......Cheers!?
