Paprikasz Biryani Recipe, How To Make Paprikasz Biryani Recipe

Ingredients used in Paprikasz Biryani
• Basmati rice - 2 cups.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Sweet paprika - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Ginger & garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - half tea spoon.
• Garam masala - half tea spoon.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Coriander leaves - half tea spoon.
• Yogurt - 3 tablespoons.
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Coriander powder - half tablespoon.
• Oil - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Cut chicken into pieces and rub it with salt.
  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, paprika, cumin, coriander, bay leaf, ginger/garlic paste, turmeric, garam masala, bay leaf, oil, savory and add chicken to marinate.
  • Meanwhile fry onion in oil.
  • Add some of the oil and put in pot with water and some cumin seeds. Add basmati rice that was previously soaked about 30 minutes.
  • Cook rice on rapid fire about 5 minutes until half done.
  • Put marinated chicken on the bottom of the heavy duty dish (dutch oven). Then add rice on the top of the chicken.
  • Put fried onions on the top. Cover the dish and cook 5 min. on high, 15 minutes on medium and 25 minutes on low flame.
  • Serve biryani with some sour cream on the chicken.
