Ingredients used in Mysore Pak (Low calorie Microwave version)
• Besan / chickpea flour - 1 cup.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 1 cup.
• Milk - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Powder sugar and keep aside.
  • Sieve besan without lumps then mix both powdered sugar and besan and microwave (medium) for 2 minutes. Mix well and microwave for 1 minute to slightly roast.
  • Then add 1 cup of ghee to the mixture and mix well without lumps and microwave for another 3 minutes (450w) then mix in 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix the mixture well and microwave medium heat till bubble appears, stirring it occasionally in between.
  • When the mixture becomes thick, and bubbled well, leaving sides thenpour it on a greased plate and allow it to cool. when it thickens, make diamond shaped or square shaped slices using a cutter or knife.

DeliciousMicrowave mysore pakis now ready to serve.
