MUSHROOM AND BELL PEPPER FRIED RICE-1

Ingredients used in MUSHROOM AND BELL PEPPER FRIED RICE-1
• Garlic(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Ginger(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 cup.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 3-4 numbers.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mushroom pieces - 100 grams.
• Red & green bell peppers - 100 grams.
• Rice, cooked & fluffy - 2-3 cup.
• Msg or ajinomoto - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - half tea spoon.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon.
• Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Greens of spring onions - 2 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Heat a pan and add chopped garlic, ginger, onions and sauté them.
  • Add chopped green chillies, butter, little salt and sauté well for a minute.
  • Add mushroom pieces and sauté it well with the onions.
  • Add red and green color bell peppers, mix well until the veggies are slightly cooked. When the mushrooms are just cooked, add in the cooked and fluffy rice, MSG or ajinomoto, pepper powder, tomato ketchup, and soya sauce. Toss well.
  • Add green of spring onions (finely chopped),chopped coriander, lime juice and toss once.
  • Serve with any type of barbecue dish on side.

Chef, if you have to use fat, why not use ghee instead of butter? At least ghee is much much healthier than butter and has a high smoke point unlike butter. Secondly, it really is not right to use things like msg and then have be fit be cool series o

If you're going to use MSG, then stop even bothering with cooking.  Open box of mac and cheese, sprinkle on MSG.  That's what you're doing.  You're adding fake savory flavor, and the substance no longer matters.  Toast with MSG.   The
