METHI LEAVES AND LEMON DAAL

Ingredients used in METHI LEAVES AND LEMON DAAL
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chillies - 5 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic (crushed) - 5 numbers.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Turmeric - pinch.
• Hing - pinch.
• Green chillies - 5 number.
• Curry leaves - 4 springs.
• Water - as required.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Fenugreek leaves - 1 cup.
• Boiled toor dal - 1 cup.
• Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon.
• Lemon juice - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Take a pan and add oil, mustard seeds, dry red chilies, cumin seeds, crushed garlic, chopped onion, a pinch of turmeric,hing and saute it for a minute or two.
  • Add chopped green chilies, curry leaves and mix it well.
  • Add a little bit of water and butter, chopped fenugreek
  • leaves. Saute all these for few mins.
  • Now add boiled toor dal and salt as per taste and mix it well.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves and lastly squeeze lemon juice and mix it well. Saute all these for 1-2 mins.

Serve it with hot rice.
