Ingredients used in Melty Nutritional Yeast Cheese Sauce
• All-purpose flour (maida) - 2 teaspoons.
• Water - 2 cups.
• Salt - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic powder - half tea spoon.
• Mustard paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Cornstarch - 1/4 cup.
• Nutritional yeast - half cup.
• Vegetable oil - half cup.
Method:
Mix the dry ingredients in a saucepan. Add1 cup of water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and bubbles Remove from heat and whip in oil and mustard paste. Put back on the heat and slowly add the remaining water. Cook until thickened and bubbly (it will have the consistency of a nacho cheese sauce). Spoon onto the pizza or lasagna and broil until golden.
