Ingredients used in LAUKI KOFTA KA SALAN
• Bottle gourd(grated) - 1 cup.
• Cumin powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Mint leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Chick pea flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Peanuts - 1 tablespoons.
• Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Coconut powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Oil - 0 to fry.
• Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Dry red chilly - 2 numbers.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Salt - 0 to taste.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Coriander powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Yogurt - 3 tablespoons.
Method:

1. Take a bowl and add bottle gourd, salt, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves then mix thoroughly. 2. Then add chick pea flour and mix well. Now take small dumpling and give kofta shape to deep fry them. 3. Heat a pan and on slow flame dry roast the peanuts, sesame seeds, coconut powder then put this into the blender. 4. Add some water and make a smooth paste. 5. Heat oil in a pan again and add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds splutter add cumin seeds, dry red chilly, fenugreek seeds then saute it. 6. Then add sliced onions, salt, curry leaves, cook this till onions are golden in colour, add ginger garlic paste cook this till the raw flavour is gone. 7. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, green chillies. 8. Then add prepared paste, little water and cook this on a slow flame for 30 minutes. 9. Now add chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, beaten yogurt and cook this for 3 minutes on a slow flame. 10. Then add lauki kofta, put the lid on and let it cook for few minutes and switch off the flame. 11. Now the kofta salan is ready to serve with roti or rice.
