KOTHIMIR VADI

Ingredients used in KOTHIMIR VADI
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Vadi (chopped) - 150 grams.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Kothimir / coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 bunch.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add choppedvadi and sautethem some time on a slow flame and switch off the flame. Keep it aside.
  • In abowl, take some water add coriander powder, chilly powder, salt, hing, turmeric powder and mix it. Keep it aside.
  • Now, heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, masala mixture, mix it.
  • Once it comes to a boil, add water then even add vadi and kothimir and cook for 5 to 7 minutes and switch off the flame.
