Ingredients used in KPSAMBARI
• Oil - as required.
• Coriander leaves and curry leaves - 1 bunch.
• Hing - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coconut - half cup.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Cucumber - 1 number.
• Moong dal - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Lemon juice - few drops.
Method:
  • Soak Moong dal for 3-4 hours and wash and drain water.
  • Chop Cucumber, green chillies, coriander and curry leaves finely and add it to Moong Dal.
  • Add the freshly grated coconut and salt to the moong dal.
  • Season it by heating oil, add mustard and hing and add the seasoning to the moong dal.
  • Just before eating add lemon juice.
