Green Cow Peas With Mutton

Ingredients used in Green Cow Peas With Mutton
• Mutton - 500 grams.
• Cow peas - 500 grams.
• Ginger - 2.5 cm piece.
• Garlic - 6-8 numbers.
• Pepper powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Onions - 250 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Wash and cut mutton. Grind ginger and garlic.
  • Wash, string and cut the cow peas into 1.25 cm pieces.
  • In a pan add oil, onion and saute it well.
  • Now add mutton and fry it.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste, dry spices, salt and fry till completely dry.
  • Add the rest of the onions cut in to pieces and water to cook.
  • When water boils add prepared cow peas.
  • Cover and cook till done. Dry extra water if any.

Serve hot with bread or chapaties.
