GONGURA EGG CURRY

Ingredients used in GONGURA EGG CURRY
• Sorrel leaves - 1 bunch.
• Oil - 3 teaspoons.
• Green chillies - 3 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onion (chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Water - 1 cup.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Eggs (boiled) - 2 number.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Cut sorrel leaves, wash them and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add sorrel leaves, green chilies, salt and cook it. Later transfer into a blender and make it to a smooth paste.
  • Heat some oil in the same pan, add chopped onions, salt and saute it until they are slightly transparent.
  • Then add curry leaves, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and saute it.
  • Add sorrel leaves paste, little water, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder(optinal) to the above pan, mix nicely and check for seasoning.
  • In it, add garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Do docking to a boiled egg, add to gravy and cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame.

Now Gongura egg curry is ready to serve.

firstly, boil the egg, peel and then fry in medium-hot oil. The smooth whites tone into a lovely golden crust. Only then would be the eggs cut into half and put into a sauce, the light tomato-based gravy that is slightly sizzling. Serve with rice or bread, a crisp salad, or perhaps a condiment.

For additional taste, boil 1 egg extra, break that egg into bite size pieces and blend in the hot sauce, leave remaining eggs full. This can be one of the method to boost the taste of egg curry having whole eggsIn case you get easily uninterested in eating dal daily, then this   curry   will come for your rescue provided you eat eggThe way to boil egg:

Add eggs at normal room temperature into a pan in addition to water sufficient to dip them. Bring them to boil on the medium flame approximately 5-7 minutes. Once the covers seem cracked, turn off the stove. Once the eggs are cool enough to handle peel them.

Egg is actually a rich way to obtain calories and protein. In addition to that, it contains carbohydrate, sodium and fiber. Egg also contain 11 g of fat.
