Ingredients used in GOBHI KEEMA
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Deggi mrich - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
• Green peas - half cup.
• Tomatoes - 2 small.
• Green chillies - to taste.
• Ginger - half piece.
• Garlic - 3 clove.
• Onion - 1 small.
• Gobhi - 1 no.
• Cumin seeds - half tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Garam masala - half tea spoon.
Method:
  • Peel and chop onions into small pieces . mince ginger,garlic and green chillies together .
  • Take gobhi florets-wash and chop and mince it into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in pan ,put in cumin seeds and a pinch of asefoetida (hing) ,saute chopped onions till pink , add ginger garlic,green chillies and saute for 2 minutes. then add spices (in proportion to your taste ) except garam masala till oil leaves the masala .
  • Add the green peas and saute .
  • Add minced gobhi and saute on medium heat with lid closed .
  • Stir fry till gobhi is just about done then add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes. and switch off the heat
  • Garnish with coriander leaves .
